I can’t speak higher of this place. They really came through when we needed them and made everything as easy and comforting as possible. The facility is amazing and the staff was so kind. I will be telling everyone about this place.

What a wonderful and hidden gem! My wife stayed there for nearly a year before moving on to memory care. Every one of their staff CARES deeply about these people struggling with Dementia, and is EXPERIENCED with handling them. What a GOD-SEND! Pat, the owner is very creative and has transformed this space into an exciting, colorful, warm environment. My wife NEVER resisted going there as I ramped up from 2, to 3, to 4 and to 5 days a week. One of there goals is to READY our loved ones for the next step into memory care. The Second Seasons Adult Day Retreat also works hand in hand with ELA HOME CARE services which helped me with showering, etc. Paperwork with my long term care insurance company were patiently addressed and submitted every month for me. This is a VERY special place!

What an amazing place. My husband actually looks forward to going to Second Season. They keep him engaged with so many activities to do. The director is very kind and compassionate. I can trust while I’m working, he is in good, caring hands.

It is a difficult step to engage an adult day care place for your spouse. I couldn’t be happier having found Second Season for my beloved husband with Alzheimer’s. The retreat is modern, wonderfully decorated and has terrific activities from arts and crafts, to chair exercises to a memory class. A cheery cafe provides meals. The best thing about Second Season is the warm and wonderful staff that cares for my husband. He is happy and safe and well cared for…which makes this transition for us all the easier. Second Season and its staff are a God send!!

As a hospice care provider, we have had the opportunity to collaborate with Lifeline for Healing and have been very impressed with Karen’s dedication. The center provides a warm and engaging environment where individuals receive the support they need. I highly recommend Lifeline For Healing for their loved ones.

I went for a tour of this wonderful retreat day care center. Everything was so clean and safe and decorated so beautifully. I would feel comfortable leaving my loved one here!

Dementia is such a difficult disease, but we have found some great people at SECOND SEASON who really know how to care for our loved one. My wife had no desire to even "try" this approach, and it is still a battle at times, but she speaks so highly of all of the team at Second Season with phrases such as "everyone is so nice" "they always ask what do you need" "there is always someone with you all the time". It will take time but I believe she will eventually be asking to go instead of being sad that she will not be with me, her husband of 50+ years. Second Season has given me a respite in my caregiving and I know I am a better caregiver when I have some "time off". Thank you Pat and your entire TEAM!

Second Season Retreat has been a blessing! Pat, Kim and the staff are amazing. They keep her busy and she always comes home happy. Being open on Saturdays is amazing. This provides my family a weekly break. I recommend Second Season Adult Day retreat to anyone who needs caregiver support.
